In the same way that you’d patch a leaky roof to stave off the incoming downpour during a storm, the latest Silent Hill title is getting patched up. Currently it’s only for the Xbox 360 version with a PS3 patch in the works.
The patch will do the following:
- Improved frame rate
- Fixed save game system
- Fixed bugs in “Homeless” side quest/mission
- Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes
Silent Hill: Downpour is also coming to Xbox Games on Demand tomorrow which is pretty cool. If you haven’t played this game yet, do yourself a favour and play it. It’s not great but it was a satisfying experience.
