Microsoft has just revealed the August release schedule for Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and it’s looking pretty good.

Of note, I might point you towards The Orange Box being available for Games On Demand. Buy it. Buy it now. Apparently it’s region-locked so this means you can only get it if you have a UK or US account, but if you do and you haven’t played it yet then you really have no excuse. And it’s cheap to boot.

Then there’s also Mass Effect 3′s Firefight Pack, which I haven’t heard of before. Clearly I’m slacking as a fanboy. Also on offer is new Left 4 Dead 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC.

There’s some Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning DLC on sale, which I’m definitely going to be picking up. Also on sale is Saints Row: The Third and Just Cause 2 DLC as the month progresses.

Finally, Xbox LIVE Arcade sees the releases of Hybrid and Dust: An Elysian Tail. Be sure to check those out. Here’s the full schedule:
